hello :)
I need your help so plz help me if you can thanks in advance. :)

I want to build an electronic circuit that alow me to controle the exitation curent of the DC genrator

basicly its a A Ward Leonard Control system

I want to replace this

(used to control the speed of dc motor hoked up to the output the dc generator ).

with an elecronic circut that will do the same thing.(controling the excitation curent with potentiometer for exemple)

other thing is it possible to replace all this systeme (too od) with a PWM circut ?
?

I think it should not be to hard. The current used to exitate a DC generator is quite small compered to the output current. If I remember correct the relationship is about 1 to 90. I may be wrong here. But anyway be aware about one thing. The current has to be regulated. You can very quickly burn out the field windings if the armature is moving to slow or not mowing at all
