hope you guys can give me a hand with my thesis..
My thesis is to design a DC power board, which consist of 4 individual DC power output. I have to use switch mode power supply to supply the appropriate DC power to the output.
My problem is this, with this supply, I'll have to use a smart connection kind of thing. Meaning that when i insert one of the output plug into an appliance, it suppose to "intelligently" sense and return the input voltage and current needed for that particular appliances. I've looked into current sense transformer and current limit voltage sense circuit, but I'm still kind of lost here because of the huge choices of microcontroller and ICs... can somebody please help me with this?? Thanx very much
