hi guys... i hope you're well...

i am doing a project on a dc dc boost converter to drive a motor. i have constructed the boost converter circuit and the pwm circuit that drives the fet. i am just wondering how i could get the motor to run using the output voltage. i have tried connecting it in series with a 22K resistor but nothing happens. the motor is a 6-9 vdc. when i connect the motor in parallel with the resistor i get a whiny nois from the motor. i am assuming there isnt enough current to drive it through. i calculated the arm resistance of the motor and that came to around 10 ohms. i have tried using higher values for the resistor but the same thing. i get the output voltage to increase and thats about it.

any suggestins please?

thank you

You really need to post an image of your schematic, and give specifics about the inductor(s) you are using, MOSFETs used, what the voltage source is, etc.

You also need to give more specifics about the motor, like what is it's current or VA rating.
