G,day all.

I am after some help with a timing circuit.

A DC 24v 5.0amp solinoid needs to be energised 10sec, denergised for 30sec, in a continuous loop. Some adjustability of these times would be good but not essential.

AC 240v will be converted to DC 24v. The solinoid is fitted to a pnuematic valve. The cycling will supply an air powered water pump. I have designed and built the pump, have the pneumatic valve, but cannot find an economical timer. Cost is a major issue.

Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

Where on the planet are you located? Location can make a big difference in availability and cost of components.

Do you have an electronics supplier that you usually order from?

G'day mate. I'm on the East coast of Australia.

Don't know much about electronics, but have asked the two stores in town about supplying something and got negative responses. What ever I get, I will either make out of auto electrical parts or order from interstate.
