Hi. I'm trying to setup a current sensor. How can I set it up in order to measure current in the following circuit

Vdd-------Load-------Gnd

Yeah. Not helpful unfortunately because if I could use an ammeter for the job I would. I am only allowed to measure voltage in my project using an ADC.

 

What kind of load is it?

 

Resistor load

 

If it is a resistor load just measure the voltage across it and divide by the resistance to find the current.

 

The resistor value is unkown hence I need the voltage and current readings.

 

Put a 1 ohm resistor in series with the load and measure the voltage across it. The voltage across the 1 ohm resistor will equal the current through it.
