I am working on a master slave one wire project(on a 24V DC line,1 master and many slaves devices), as a part of my application i am measuring the current of the total loop(all slaves). I put a resistor of 1 ohm and measuring the voltage across that resistor. The slave modules are approximately of 10mA current consumption. what i am doing is, adding one by one slave to the loop and measuring the voltage across the resistor.
while doing so what i have observed is that the difference in the voltage across the resistor while adding a new slave is very less (around 20mV). I want to increase this voltage difference (across the resistor for each new slave) to more than 70mV.
Please somebody suggest some idea to achieve this.
