Well, what to say ....
The good news is that i had a meeting with a professor and i have conducted some measurements and a bad news is that that's all i could do.
I lacked both a training to properly use a scope and scope itself seems to be a part of school's inventory. Professor received it in "as-is" state, there are no manuals, usb cable is missing (standard, but still a part of equipment) and no accompanying software.
I guess some extra effort on my part will be needed to finally record signals onto a computer.
As i need manual and software (which i couldn't find on internet), i'll have to post a separate topic asking for help with Voltcraft DSO 4062.
