Current Mode versus Voltage Mode - Boost Converter

Hi All,

I've been designing a boost converter, and although I am confident in my application/design, it definetely has tweaked a few curiousities.

Mostly, people tend to just talk about a 'right half plane zero', how complex it is to model the transfer function with current mode control but how the industry uses it because it can be more stable, assuming compensation, and easier to design with.

As you can tell, none of those things really 'tell' me much. Does anyone know of any good e-books or app notes which go into the nitty gritty about all of these details? Most I have found only really discuss modelling and the need to filter the output of the error amplifier because it is sensitive. I was hoping for something quite in depth.

Thanks in advance.
