curiosity mars craft landing

    Wow, I'm surprised nobody has commented on it. I watched it live streaming. First images of mars. I would have come here and given you guys the link, but I didn't learn about it until t-1hr and I was too excited and forgot about you guys. So now you know how it is.

    Anybody else watch it?

    It was pretty fast, went from 13,000+ MPH to sitting on the surface snapping pics in just a few minutes.

    I tried to get my daughter to watch but she was too distraught about the fact that I turned off her movie 15 minutes before the end.

    I watched the live video stream. I was surprised by the long time the specialists in the control room spent on their tension relieving celebrations.
