This question really question me, please help me out

Show that CT model, ady/dt+by(t)=x(t), represents a linear system; that is if x1(t)=y1(t) and x2(t)=y2(t), show that the response y3(t)=a1y1(t)+a2y2(t). Correspond to the linear combination of two inputs, x3(t)=a1x1(t)+a2x2(t)

I wish someone can explain to me about the way how it get to the answer

You take the derivative of y, make the substitutions and show that the equation is a true statement. What's the problem? Haven't you done this type of exercise before in trigonometry?
