    Whats the basic difference between Crystal and Resonator.

    A crystal is just a crystal. A ressonator produces a square wave. (Well, almost square...)

    mr sajid are you referring to piezoelectric crystal 'quartz' used in oscillators?

    When I think of resonator, I think of a cavity resonator. This has no relation to a crystal that I can think of.

    I think the OP should put the question in context.
