Converting VDC from digital to analog

Hello all,

Can anyone post an example of DC circuit that converts voltage from digital to analog and it's solution?

I have two homework questions that cover this but haven't got a clue as to how to procede.

Thanks.

Hi,

Any voltage is analog in nature. It can be converted into a digital value that represents the magnitude of that voltage, but there really is no such thing as a digital voltage. DC circuits are always analog, by definition. They can change voltage levels easily, but the process is analog.

Perhaps you could expand on the questions you have for better help.

I had assumed scottb was looking for a D/A convertor.
