Hello all

I have a capacitive sensor model M30X1.5 for the purpose of controlling an auger screw via a relay /contractor the idea is to stop the motor driving the auger when the hopper is full of barley and switch it on again automatically when the hopper is nearly empty.
I can stop motor via normally closed contact in relay but am unable to restart
motor automatically when sensor times out.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated :)

items used:
2 wire capacitive sensor
Starter
relay with 3 n/o contacts and 3 n/c contacts

Single phase circuit

Sensor is in n/o position but can be changed to n/c

stop the motor driving the auger when the hopper is full of barley and switch it on again automatically when the hopper is nearly empty
is your sensor capable of detecting these two states

restart motor automatically when sensor times out
your sensor has extended functionality, you better provide a link to it.

You say "sensor times out" but nothing else mentions a timing element.

How about sitting down and pretending that you know nothing at all about your circuit, then read your description and imagine how it looks to someone who is indeed in that situation--will they understand it?
