I have some questions to ask over here and hope someone can guide me along. Thanks. I am now doing my Final Year Project and it is a topic on DC to DC converter. I had read some information and very puzzled on what are the values of the components require for it. There are inductor, capacitor and resistor(load). But how are we going to determine the value of those components and where should I start off? Appreciate your guidance.

The value of these components depends on the switching frequency, maximum output current, their ESR, acceptable ripple etc.
