I'm trying to attach a 1" LCD screen (like this one: LCDscreen) to a cheap USB web camera (like this one: Webcam) and have a battery somewhere in the circuit so as to be able to carry it around.

I have no experience with electronics, so if anyone could tell me if this is possible and if so how to do it I would appreciate it!

btw I'm doing this in order to make night vision goggles!

 

Nearly impossible to do even with experience. Get a camera with video out and an LCD with video in.

 

It's not a realistic project for a novice.

We have had n00bs where it took them a week just to get an LED to flash on and off reliably.

I think you have an idea that you can just connect the camera and the LCD together easily and cheaply. That just isn't going to happen.
