i HAVE A CONFIDENT7 PROPANE GENERATOR IN MY 1994 MOTORCOACH. THIS UNIT HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE I BOUGHT THE UNIT USED IN 2002. I HAVE REPLACED REGS, CIRCUIT BOARDS, AND HAD A TUNEUP. THE UNIT WILL RUN FOR UP TO 45MN WHEN IT WILL RUN AND THEN IT WILL REDUCE RPM TO VERY LOW IDLE. AT THIS POINT IT WILL GENERATE NO ELEC. POWER. ALWAYS RUN UNDER LOAD. CURRENTLY IT WILL NOT RUN AT ALL. COULD IT BE A STUCK CK. VALVE AS IT DOESNT SEEM TO BE GETTING ANY FUEL.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Other than that all I can say is make sure gas is getting to the carb from the tank; get it running again somehow and monitor any linkage such as the governor, clean the carburator with carb cleaner, esp. the jets and their ports. It sounds like you already know this, though.

 

Check the fuel filter.
