I am planning to build a component to VGA converter following the LMH1251 evaluation board: http://www.national.com/an/AN/AN-1836.pdf
I have just received the National ICs and soldered them to the TSSOP/SSOP to DIP boards. I was planning to test this out on a breadboard as I always do, but am now thinking it might not work with such high frequencies as in component and VGA signals. Do you think I will be wasting my time? Are the 0.64mm square pins that come with it going to be alright? Maybe I am just better off to start with a protoboard... will that even work?
