Specifically I need to know what kind of item is identified as MOV1 and its value, it was burned out by a overload.

 

the only thing that pops up googling MOV1 is a varistor.

Give us more details please:
- foto of the component / PCB
- number of leads
- color
- size
- where is it in the circuit
