$exp(j \pi) = -1$
$exp(-j \pi) = 1$
$exp(2j \pi) = 1$
$exp(-2j \pi) = -1$

Right?
Nope. Note that -1 and +1 are both odd numbers. +2 and -2 are both even numbers.

So the +/- sign doesn't matter?

How about the last one? (3/2) and (7/2) are neither odd nor even.

Think about it and you'll get it. Remember Euler's formula.

$exp(j\theta)=\cos(\theta)+j \sin (\theta)$
