I am having a hard time finding complex coefficients in a fourier series. My function that I am working with is e^-x on the interval from 0 to 2 pi. I am pretty comfortable with finding coefficients regularly for a fourier series, but not exactly sure how to go about it when dealing with complex coef. If someone could walk me through the steps of doing this, that would be greatly appreciated!

 

I don't understand where complex coefficients come into this. You wrote e^-x; you didn't mean e^(-ix) did you?

Otherwise, it looks like you need to do the integration to get the a_n and b_n coefficients.
