    Hi all,

I am interested in finding out about the camera types mentioned in the title. As far as I know, many CMOS cameras are out there and being sold on sites like robotshop, and I have just recently read a Wikipedia article that CMOS isn't even a camera type, but rather a technology used to make integrated circuits. I have also heard about the CCD cameras and PSD cameras. For an application for tracking multiple IR LEDs, with a wide angle view, which camera would you recommend and why? I guess in a broader sense, the question is: what is the difference between CCD, PSD, and CMOS (if these exist) cameras?

    Thanks in advanced!
