And then there's nothing there... Either the page doesn't exist anymore or you can't navigate it.

You know the websites I mean. You start on a directory which has 20 projects for mp3 players. The only links which works doesn't have all the information you need to build the project.

Everything else doesn't work.:(

Ah well. There should be some sort of archive. Trawling the interent and taking snapshots of pages everywhere it goes. Storage is cheap.

@ Mark, they say what you put on the web is forever,what happens to the info

that big companies and agencies take down,no page found.

There are dozens of companies that archive the net. Especially for pages then went down. You can use those services cause they save a cache of each web page.
