Wonder what circuit simulation software anyone is using...
1) what do you like about it ?
2) what don't you like about it?
3) what is the cost to use it... vs free ware.
4) simulation program or a drawing program to create schematic?

I am reverse creating schematic of appliance controls.
(ranges,dishwasher,washer,refrigerators and ovens)
I have not been able to get them for the manufacturer

For a circuit simulator I use LTSpice from Linear Technology; it's very good and free.
There is also a Yahoo! LTSpice User's Group that has lots of additional models and help available.

Cadsoft's Eagle is available in freeware; it's a schematic capture and board layout editor. Kind of complex to learn. Freeware mode is limited to 1 sheet per schematic, 2 layers on a board, and 3"x4" board size. You can still do a lot with it. You can make your own custom components.

I use Live wire, paid version since it has lot of analog & digital component. Freeware version also available , with some limitations!
