hi all. new to the forum. i have done a search but still not actually sure what i am looking for so any help will be appreciated.

I am looking a designing/building a circuit that switches resistive values to connect my steering wheel stereo controls in my car to my headunits wired remote control switch.

what i have - a single wire that gives 7 different resistance values depending on the button that is pressed. (i think the input to the switches is 5VDC but still got to confirm)
what i want to do - convert the 7 different values to different values that the headunit recognises.

i.e.

from controls headunit needs
1.47kohms 2.2Kohms (SOURCE)
790ohms 8.8Kohms (SKIP)
460ohms 12.1Kohms (SKIP BACK)
280ohms 4.4Kohms (MUTE)
160ohms 16.8Kohms (VOL UP)
80ohms 23.6Kohms (VOL DOWN)
3.66Kohms when no buttons pushed


i was wondering if it is possible to make a circuit to basically convert one set of resistance values to another as each button is pressed.

any help will be appreciated if this is possible.
