hi to all, please help me... im new in electrical design. my project is design a 3 phase 220vac 11kw. my computed for amps is 50a, i would like to know what kind of circuit breaker should i use, and size of cable and help me to get a tips for wiring this project. thank you advance for reply

 

Do you want a type B, C ,or D breaker, what is is going to be used on?
Cable size i would use 16mm, or 10mm if its in the open clipped direct to a wall.

 

thanks for response. our system is use reverse/forward motor. what is the difference of a, b, c and d beaker? what i found is 125% for motor conductor and 250% for circiut brekaer.. thnaks.

 

For motors i would use type C, each type has a different surge current tolerance for inductive loads, type D are for Welders mainly,you can use something like this one depending on your panel manufacture
