Hello everyone,

I have an E-11 Blaster made by Hasbro, and it has a very simple circuit board inside. It produces 2 sounds that alternate: One is an actual blaster...the second is what sounds like a ricochet sound. I would just like the blaster sound.

Here are the pictures: http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/3803/dscf0794z.jpg

Also, this may be important....when I hold the trigger in the right position once a particular sound plays, the same sound keeps repeating until i release.

Thanks!!!

All of the sound/effect order/light effects are controlled by that little black dot on the back of the board. That is a "chip on board" microcontroller with memory for the sound samples.

It is cheaper to make them that way, rather than to put the silicon into a surface mount or DIP package and bringing leads out, they just put the silicon on the PCB and put the leads to the PC Board, then put a drop of epoxy over it.

In short, nothing can be changed on the board, only changes with the switch, such as making one trigger pull into two switch closures or whatever order is needed to get the sound you like.
