I am trying to build the circuit with hbridge for DC motor control. I have planned to use NP88N04NUG from NEC, which talks about 40V VDS, 88A Id, Rds of 3.4mohm and Gatecharge of 171nC typical.
Can I use a driver A3940 of source current typ(pulsed ) typ of 700 mA and sink current( pulsed ) typ . of 800mA.
I have read that drive current is derived by simply dividing the gate charge by the required switching time .
How to justify the driver for this mosfet ? What exactly does " required switching time " mean?
