choose r1 and r2

I want to design an inverting amplifier. I am given:

- input resistance minimum and output resistance maximum.
- r1 and r2 at least 1kohms as I outmax is 10ma.

what is the principle to choose values for r1 and r2.

You have not given nearly enough information. You need to post a schematic.
the schematic looks like the attached two image files. I couldn't find any info in many resources that i have searched in the way we are asked to solve this problem.

any ideas would be appreciated.

The voltage gain of the inverting opamp circuit is R2/R1. So if R2 is 100k and R1 is 10k then the voltage gain is 10. The input impedance will be 10k ohms. The output impedance will be less than 0.01 ohm at low frequencies.
