there are two types of charge carriers in semiconductor , one is electron which carry negative charge , second is hole which carry positive charge

carrier generation is process by which electron gain energy and move from valance band to conduction band and producing two mobile carriers

    generation of electron hole pair

carrier recombination is process by which conduction bands electron loss energy and re occupy electron hole pair

    recombination of hole pair

Q1 IS both statement are true ?

Q2 what is carrier statics in semiconductor ?

    IS it a Fermi level
