hi guys, im hoping u lot can help. ive just installed a dice silverline kit into my car

the idea is to charge and play music through the cars speaker system which it does fine when i use the standard setup. the problem is i wanted to use an extention cable as i want to make a custom cradle

problem is when i use the extention cable, the audio doesnt work. it still charges the iphone though. i have no idea about electrics so any help would be greatful

There are dubious cables out there, without all the conductors of a genuine cable. Some have only 2 for the power, although the add for this one does imply it should carry audio.
