whats the meaning of phase angle of a capacitor's opposition to current is -90o,or that a capacitor's opposition to current is a negative imaginary quantity.

In a ideal capacitor current leads the voltage by 90°. While denoting its reactance we mention as -JXC, where J = √-1 and XC is the capacitive reactance.
