Hello everyone, I have been lurking for a while and now I need to ask a question (or ten).

Electronics was a hobby for me about 30 yrs ago, I have missed it and I am getting started again. I have started accumulating various parts again, very different from scrounging old TV chassis' back in High School (no e-bay then).

The reason for my post is I have aquired a mixed assortment of ceramic and mylar(?) caps and I have been trying to decode (don't remember ever seeing this system before) and sort them.

I did find a good explaination and a program that helps with this but I have run into problems with some of them as they do not seem to fit the standard format.

Format example:
KCK
100Z
50V

All values are read in picofarads so this would be 10 pF -20%, +80% tolerence. Not sure what the KCK is for.

The ones I'm have questions with are marked as such;

When I was a young teen, I asked my Dad if I could have the radio in his workshop, and he said OK. He didn't realize that I was going to completely dismantle it for parts.
