I come up with 928 ohms

 

I’m reading it from the other end and coming up with 0.5Ω, 1% tolerance and a white band for 1ppm temperature coefficient. That second band looks brown to me.

 

It looks intact. Measure it with an ohmmeter.

I thought resistors were read starting from the end with the biggest gap from the end of the resistor to the first color band?
But I'm not sure.

If that is a five band resistor code then the graphic Android app I use to help identify the color bands doesn't show silver available as a 3rd band?

The app only shows temperature coefficients for 6 band resistors? Perhaps the app I use is deficient?
