Hi,

If I understand your queation properly, yes. A DC level is an analog signal as much a one that is time-varying. In the case of the DC voltage, the A to D converter will produce the same number for earh conversion. This could be useful for a microcontroller monitoring a power voltage level. It would only need to compare the conversion result to a stored number, and generate an alert if the conversion is significantly different from the desired value.
