Can anyone identify this component for me? It is the one circled in green, with three long legs, and the blue bit in the middle. It has no number visible on it, and the two ICs underneath its legs are not part of it.

I suspect that is a switch or fuse. The board shown is from a MacBook laptop battery. The component in question connects the battery + to the socket, which connects with the computer.

Thanks in advance.

After spending many hours on the internet I can now answer my own question. This component is a chemical or thermal fuse. It is manufactured by NEC/SCHOTT. This particular one is a SEFUSE type D6X which has a capacity of 12A.

The reason no numbers are visible is that it is installed upside down. When I removed it I found the numbers D6X6ZA on the bottom.
