Can anyone elaborate the Ztotal Calculation Formula used at this link ? http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_2/chpt_11/3.html

 

It states that the total impedance equals the impedance of the capacitor in parallel with the series combination of the resistor and inductor impedances.

Granted, it's not a very standard way to put it.
