I'm developing a project of "water tank overflow indicater".

My basic idea is to use 555IC in astable mode nd indication is given by piezo buzzer.
But after bulding it,it dint work...

Ic is giving squre wave output(led blinks).but no responce from piezo-buzzer..
    Plz help..

    What 555 are you using? e.g. are you using a NE555, LM555, TLC555, etc.?

Without a basic schematic we can't even guess...

Maybe the piezo buzzer is actually a piezo transducer that has no audio oscillator circuit inside it. Then the slow on and off from the 555 will make it sound like, "tick, tick, tick".
