Hi everyone . i am building my helicopter from scratch for my school project. i had mounted my tail motor and main motor on my wooden stick (main body) already. The last part to complete so as to lift the helicopter is the base and the gyro connection. The helicopter need not to fly , just lift will do. I understand there are many methods to built a base (eg.using foam ,carbon rod and balsa wood). But is there any more innovative way to build a base using those materials? anyone can suggest to me as i am graded according to my creativity. i had attached a image of my project below . Thks for any input

PCB Boards are good...first you have to etch the copper ,they are light and strong...

So let say if i use a pcb board , do i need to use carbon rod to support the base from my platform? what u mean by etch the copper ? Sorry for the noob question..
