a cheapest new generic power supply 450w cost me about 700, and the components cost me around 200 max. even if i buy them in 10s in numbers.. and yes i cant afford a new powersupply

 

the shop dint have my things,even if when i said the components values ,he simply said they dont have that... so have to do it online.. so i found this is the closest i get available for h945p transistor -
i have this transistor available ST2SC1815 ,almost similar parameters except these 2 - ft is 250 for h495p ,80 for ST2SC1815, power dissipation is 250mW for h495p , 400mW for ST2SC1815
can i replace h495p with ST2SC1815 ?

But you're willing to find out that your $200 may not fix your problem! And I thought I was hardheaded. If this is just for fans why not use a wall wart?
