I get a circuit from the net and I don't really get it work yet..
I mean, I not sure whether it's applicable..
Anyone willing to help me out?


The above is the circuit that I found..
I need a boost circuit for input of 12V - 16V and output around 13V-14V.
I wonder if the circuit is capable of doing so?
Btw, I can't find the IRFP2907 IC around my place.
Any suggestion of MOSFET that I can replace it?

That circuit is nowhere near as efficient as the author claimed, even with ideal components.

What is your output current requirement?

 

my output current will be around 2A if possible?

 

You really need a buck-boost circuit. A straight boost or straight buck won't do the job for you.

What is your application for, anyway? Something automotive, it sounds like.

 

I agree with Wookie, but you can improve it a little using Schottky Diodes.
