I would like to gather some information regarding boilers and turbines used in industries.

1. What is their basic purpose??
2. What are the basic components of them?? ( any diagram will be better)
3. Do they have certain parameters that can be controlled using PLCs or DCS system?

3. Yes. The boilers and turbines sold today can be very complex and very automated, controlled entirely by PLCs. parameters like pressure, temperature, flow, etc.
