I'm trying to simulate a single transistor amplifier circuit (using BC547). For some reasons, the output is always zero, my Vc is not 4.5V contrary to my expectation, and VBe is zero. Can anyone please have a look and advise what I'm doing wrong. Or if the software is to blame. Thank you.

 

Your V1 sine source short all your DC current. So you need to add a capacitor (100uF) between V1 and Q1 base.

 

Jony130, thanks. Vbe is now 1.39mV, but still there is no output. Q point is not 4.5V - is still 0.26mV. Attached is the file.

 

Very strange but in my computer your BJT amp work just fine (proteus 7.7 sp2).
So I don't know what is going on. Try change BJT type.

I'm glad to hear that. But we also can come to conclusion that you have some bug in your proteus version.And my version don't have this bug.
