Banana Plugs

For all I know, the above can handle around 10 Amps.
Or am I wrong ?

Can any one confirm this for me.

 

I've seen banana plugs rated up to 15A..

 

There are *bananas* that are simply folded-over sheet,[ cheep ] and then there are those that are either Bi, or Quad-furcated rod stock...

I believe the latter to be good for at least 15 amps, if both pin and socket are good and clean...and a decently tight fit.

 

Plugs I see thru US distribution are rated 15A.

However I see no ratings on these knock offs.

Let me know how they work in case I am temped to get some.

I checked ebay and they are cheaper.

I asked the seller about the current capacity.

 

Banana plugs and jacks are rated at 15A. I would prefer to use spade connectors instead of plugs for a more secure connection.
