Hi, I am new here ^_^. I was wondering of anyone knew of an IC that have a frequency clock input & takes an input of 4-bits in order to produce one output based on the chosen binary input value for example if my input frequency =1MHZ and i'v chosen 0010 my Fout will be Fin/2 and so on.. please help me out if u know anything that can be used to solve this matter. Thanks a lot ^_^

 

The first thing that comes to mind is a 7497 binary rate multiplier.
You can also do the same thing with a presettable binary up/down counter.

 

Take a look at a 74HC191 for example. Presettable synchronous binary up/down counter.
