please help me of how i read the recharging xtics given in the battery data sheet. rather than amperes a data sheet given following thing for recharging the battery.
0.05c10, .1c10 and .25c10.
so i am confused how much current means a 0.05c10 means.
please battery capacity is 2500AH OPZV.

 

I'll throw this out there. The .05c and .25c are generally charge rates with respect to battery capacity in hours.

If you have a 1000mAh battery, charging at .5C would be a 500mA charge for 2 hours. At .1C: 100mA for 10 hours.

You are most definitely talking about a different breed of battery with this 2500Ah unit.

I'm not positive what the 10 on the end designates, but it could be some kind of scaling factor for this value given the brute size of this battery. The reason I say that if we take your .1C10 figure, they are asking you to charge this at 250A! If that C10 were a scaling factor of 10, 25A seems MUCH more reasonable.

I'm not an expert in these high capacity batteries, so take my hypothesis with a grain of salt.

? Never seen a battery that big, do you mean 2500 mA-hr?
