Hi,
I am new beginner so would like to know very basics of resistors.
I have attache three different circuits so please let me know what are the outputs of all.

For the first picture, the output is the same as the input. Current is flow of charge, and charge is conserved, so any charge entering one end of the resistor must exit the other end.

For the other two pictures, it depends on the voltage at the input relative to common. Some of the input current will be diverted to common, but how much depends on the voltage drop across the resistor.
