i want to model a ups circuit...remeber its a model hence i wont be dealing with high voltages or currents.the circuit would be having two main circuits. one circuit would charge the battery while the supply is being taken from mains and when the mains supply is off,the charging stops and supply is taken from the battery.

the specs are:
1) output voltage must be around 5V and current must be low as i am running 2 red leds and one 3v dc motor........750 ma

2)battery is 6V 4.5A...max chrging current 1.35A
