Hello All
I have embarked on a project, using an automotive alternator. This unit will be used for battery charging in an EV. Battery voltage is 84 volts, charging voltage is 98.8 volts 4.8kw. Field volts 8.64, amps less than 5. This is my second hybrid build. The first one can be seen here, www.evalbum.com/2196
Can someone help me with a fairly simple control circuit for this alternator? The old vintage alternators were tough. The one in my motorcycle is a 1968 Chrysler unit running at 56 volts. No problems at all. My second unit is a big frame Ford alternator. No changes were made.
Thanks
