    Hello all,

I am looking for advice on part of a larger project.

I would like to be able to transmit audio wirelessly across the home for a few seconds at a time when required, similar to a wireless intercom.

In short, I need to be able to press a button and transmit spoken audio to a receiver within the home. My first thought was to use an FM transmitter to a waiting FM receiver; but I am also interested in weather using Bluetooth or WiFi could add a layer of security to the transmission?

Could anybody give me any advice as to what technologies I could use and how these could be implemented? Any links to information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    What's wrong with a wireless intercom? How about a hand-held two-way radio?

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I don't feel there is anything wrong with either of these technologies, in fact they are very close to what I wish to achieve.

However, I need to be able to create this on my own PCB. Therefore, I was looking to found out if anybody here has any suggestions as to what technology I can incorporate into my own design relativity easily.
