Perhaps it would be better to list what features you need in the ATMEL chip, number of pins, type of USB capability you need, memory, etc.

Why would you assume that there was one? Companies want to differentiate their products, not play copy-paste all day long. "A market near your house" -- are you kidding me. That's not going to happen. Order it online and pay to have it shipped to where you are. That is what you have to do in the era of globalization. It is simply not cost effective to distribute one or two of every chip made to a market near your house.
